Which one would you buy?

Hey guys,

So i'm in a bit of a dilemma; i'm looking to buy a new bike and i've narrowed it down to two. Only problem is, i can't decide between them so i was hoping you guys could do that for me!

One is:

Specialized Hardrock Disc 2011

https://www.evanscycles.com/products/...-bike-ec024136

The other:

Specialized Hardrock Sport Disc 2010

https://www.bestbikeproducts.com/prod...5s2p1876&rs=gb

Obviously the 2011 model is newer, hence it's a bit more expensive. I also like the look of it a lot more. However, reading around, they say the Sport Disc has much better brakes, even if it is an older model...

Also i just found this one, its got good reviews and is the same price as the others:

Diamondback Response Sport 2011

Dilemma!

2010. Better brakes (but Tektros aren't terrible), better handlebar (hi-ten steel on the '11???), and 8-speed vs 7-speed.

i know... i think they are both good, and to me, pretty much the same bike. as far as parts like handlebars and brakes, you can always upgrade as needed.

they are really downgrading the new bikes, while listing them for the same price... not cool

But why would he pay more for crappier brakes and bars? The 2010 is cheaper and has better parts.

Completely different bike for a completely different purpose. I have a DJ that's lots of fun for pump track, jumps, and urban, but it sucks monkeyballs as a trail bike.

I have the 2011 model of this bicycle and was deciding wether or not it was worth it to pay $100 for the word "sport". i did my research and found out it is really worth it with better brakes and fork.

You will be happy with your purchase, even if it is a 2010 becouse i dont believe they change much from year to year.
