mx comp air or coil

How can I tell whether I have marzochhi MX comp air or coil as fitted standard on my 2004 Alpine trail. I assume that they are air as when I let the air totally out of both legs, then they sink with no spring resistance to the bottom of the stroke. Does this mean they are the air ?

ummm... i'd say yours HAD air in it...
the manual should give some indication of which type yours is. if you don't have it, check out the marz website and download the tech manual.

Unscrew the top cap (using a 22mm socket I believe) if there is no spring inside, it's an air!
