You need a PHD to service most cannondale head shocks and leftys. They are quite complicated.

And Special tools! But, Maintenance on mine has been pretty much non-existant! I've only had to take it to the shop a couple times a year for a shot of lube and that's been it! I've had mine for about 1-1/2 years and it's been trouble free! It's actually stiffer than any other 4" travel fork I've tried!

Bikes: 1959 Capo Modell Campagnolo; 1960 Capo Sieger (2); 1962 Carlton Franco Suisse; 1970 Peugeot UO-8; 1982 Bianchi Campione d'Italia; 1988 Schwinn Project KOM-10;

I thought all of them had been recalled for safety reasons. Was this just a particular production run?

From an engineering standpoint, a head-shock makes alot more sense.

Only the carbon ones. I have no idea what percentage of the total they made up.

Yeah, just the carbons. I guess C'dale should stick to metal instead of Carbon Fiber. They seem to have problems with plastic.

The F800 is sure a sweet looking bike. But mountain biking hasn't been singing my song lately.
