Look, no stickers, no paint. Nothing looks better that dirty titanium. Although we did add some stickers with our company logo to the boom tube.

It's from ATC Racing. It was a Z-6, but Dean, the owner, set it up for us to be used on a tandem, and I think it's called a T-5 now. 5 buttery smooth inches, completely serviceable and user-tunable.

Yup! Got my wife into it, and she loves it. Bloody hard work for the captain (me), but heaps of fun. It has advantages (speed, power) and disadvantages (kinda handles like a school bus sometimes) but we rarely ride our singles anymore.

Ok, my wife's handlebars have a little pink kitty sticker on them. Anyone have a problem with that?

She has no desire to be the captain. It really is a lot of work. Sitting in back is pretty weird, because you've only got grips on your handlebars (and a bell, GPS, HRM and a pink kitty sticker) but no brake/shifter levers. If we go too fast, she just yells for me to slow down. I also have to remember to call out the rocks and bumps when we're in the bush. One day we had one of those quick "stop!/go!" arguments, and I was the "go" person. She stopped pedalling while I stood on the pedals. Needless to say, I busted the timing chain that connects our cranks. Long story short, we swapped positions (get your mind out of the gutter!) and she steered us home while I pedalled for the both of us. We both have more respect for each other's roles since that day. She knows what it's like to steer and brake, and I know what it's like to not be able to see. And I got one hell of a workout too.

You know that feeling you get when you've gone in way too fast, and your suspension is working overtime, and you wonder if your brakes are really up to the challenge? We get that all the time. I used to slide my Landcruiser on paved twisty canyon roads when I worked in Malibu, and scare the s**t out of little punks in Honda Civics. I seem to gravitate towards big things, then try to treat them like toys. Didn't you just have a crash recently? Or do I have you confused with someone else?

Yeah, kind of, it wasn't a crash. I kept the bike up but my derailleur went through mt rear wheel. Quite costly

Sucks! And parts are so expensive here. I get all my stuff real cheap in the US. I try to support my LBS, but their markup is way too much. Will you be rolling again soon?
