I do not think any girl benefit from wearing pink. It is "real man" color.
Look if she has something navy blue or greyish black. :)
My wife has all black MTB.

However - I'm thinking about paining this thing pink. Any suggestions on paint brand?

She has alot of really bright purple, orange, and blue. She likes pretty much all of the "girl" colors, but for some reason hates pink. I wish she just had a MTB. I'm doing good just getting her to occasionally riding her cheap walmart roadmaster. Probably gonna get her a hybrid when we graduate college, and eventually get her to start trying some wide smooth trails and maybe eventually some decent single tracks. (this is all thinking very distant in the future.....)

Dear Ed,

What's the deal with the unhealthy Danny Macaskall obsession? Don't people know there are lots of other super stylie riders out there?

Dear Ed,

What's the longest wheelie you've ridden?

You have a long way to go - she got her all black MTB when she was 40.

Yeah, we are both only 22. She acted like she didn't want to ride at all until I got her out one day and we did a 10 miler and she loved it. She had never riden farther than 1 mile before and she said that she didn't even realize that we had gone 10 miles. I am planning on trying to get her to do a 10ish mile ride once a week through all of winter to get her more confident on the bike before we even attempt any trails. But we will get there eventually.

I have been digging through old posts, looking for good DH runs to post. I'll get it done soon.

Regarding Danny that was partially for me and partially for the religious DannyMac followers. I came from a skater background, I love watching a good urban or street trials session. I like watching a full length MTB vid with all sorts of gnarly riding...but when someone like Lenosky, Voreis or Chase does their urban session...I feel like it breaks it all up a bit...adds a different element to the video. I don't believe Macaskill is the 2nd coming of Christ, but IMO he deserves all the publicity he's getting. Unfortunately dudes like Hart deserve way more than they get. It takes a tremendous amount of skill to do wet DH runs like he did. IMO it takes an equally amazing skilled timing to do a 15' to flat on a rigid bike w/o destroying something.

Different strokes, I guess.

Ed, where does east bound end and west bound start? This has been killing me every since I got my drivers license.

Ya know, I'm trying to be a good sport about this, but it's getting exhausting.

OK, ed, I have a question: If I kept riding east, I would eventually wind up on your front porch. Now, as I see it, that's damn near as far east as I could ride before it actually became 'East.' So, how in the ^$#&%^%*@ is that the 'Midwest?' Seems to me, mid-West would really be somewhere around Jackson Hole.

Very close! A monument at Meades Ranch KS was the geodetic center of the lower 48 for many years.

Close; but, as you can see, I wasn't nearly as handsome nor have I ever been able to grow a real beard:

The clue to my avatar is in the text above it. Google it, along with "SNL." It will make sense

He does that to get us scrambling for our dictionaries. He is - - sometimes disgustingly - - well-read.

I believe "geek" is the more correct term, but I don't expect a dork like you to know the difference.
