Bikes: Specialized Hardrock Sport Disc 2004 And identit Dr Jekyll

heres a link to the Specialized, its been voted the best beginners bike a few times in the last couple of years, if you need a tough, beginners bike that will not break (for a while) get this litle beast!

Ok, so Evans cycles has sold out lol..... Specialized is a very highly respected make all over the world... If i was you, i would get this, its even inside your budget!

#2 but for this price, you shouldn't be getting discs. You should be getting a better drivetrain. Discs are not for this price point!

I would vote for Specialized Hardrock but it's not there.

$485 US will buy you a P1, a Hardrock, or a Hardrock SS... any of which will be vastly better than that junk you are looking at.

Bikes: better ones than yours

Seely, again, learn what the hell you're talking about. The kid is looking at slalom bikes, and you recommend a freaking Hard Rock? G-zus Kriste. Stop giving advice already.

I don't think any "slalom bike" comes with an RST fork. I am recommending bikes based on pricepoint, not purpose. For $485 US you can't buy a slalom bike. Did Mommy let you back on the computer again?

BTW Seely, you really should think about what you say, just because Saracen dont Supply many bikes to America doesnt mean they're junk, they are excellent starter bikes for the money over here, and they get alot of people in the Uk riding, think about what you say before you open your mouth please, not all bikes that you havent heard of are junk....

Last I checked, RST forks and low end disc brakes were junk.

I daresay you haven't looked at my recommendation? The Lana'I where the frame completely destroys this Saracen one?

The Rim brakes are going to be about equal to those disc brakes and the componenet package is also quite similar.

But whatevs!

Bikes: Trek Fuel EX 8 27.5 +, 2002 Transition Dirtbag, Kona Roast 2002

Thread closed. I think the point of both the bikes and which to get have been taken care of. Closing before it gets out of hand.

Cheers
