I know exactly what you mean. On my first ride on a trail I kept thinking "this is the most fun I've ever had doing anything ever" and now it's hard to sleep or get any work done because I'm thinking about riding all the time.

Mountain biking is a subtle mistress. Seductive, but wait til she body slams ya to the ground and leaves you breathless. That is when the fun starts!

Welcome to the dirty side of biking!

Santa Cruz demo eh? That's kinda like getting your first kiss from Angelina!

Tallboy has stuck with me for awhile as well. Great reviews and you can get a fairly inexpensive starter build.

Haa, start looking for a 2nd job. heres my advice, buy the bottom level model of a good frame. Then you have an excuse to spend all your day on chain reaction and wiggle sourcing upgrades. after 12- 24months you would have spent a bucketload but have a fully pimped bike. Then all hte fun will be over. So you will start all over again with something a bit different, like a 29er or a duallie or a hardtail. You thought riding was fun, wait till you discover chain reaction
