Hanger bolt removal

So on my last ride I picked up a stick that went through my rear wheel, hitting the rd and stripping the threads on the hanger bolt and hanger. Its a 2011 Sram x9 10spd dr. How do you remove the hanger bolt? I don't see a circlip but could be missing it. Suggestions? Thanks guys

Bikes: Bike list is not a resume. Nobody cares.

Yes, there should be a snap-ring (or circlip . . . now I can't remember for sure) on the backside. Be aware that, even with the clip removed, the bolt may not easily push out. Especially when they get ripped out like that, it can 'mushroom' the shoulder on the aluminum bolt. I had to dress the shoulder down all the way around with a small flat file before I could push the bolt out.
