BTW, mountain bikes are like boats..... they get heavier with age. IE Added water bottle mount, rear rack, camera mount, heavier padded seat, wider bars, fatter squishier grips, bigger brake rotor, etc.... Its going to be a real load by the time I've added everything I want.

Anyone know where I can get some lightweight bar mounted speakers and sub woofer that will fit the rack?

That might be true for you, but that is not the norm. Especially for folks that enjoy technical terrain.

Hey, that trail looks familiar!

I've never weighted the 2 adult refreshments I usually carry in my camelbak on rides...but that's necessary weight I ain't riding without.

In the spirit of this rant I weighed the bolts from my water battle cage vs. the new bolts that came with my new frame pump. The old bolts won by .05 of an ounce. I feel faster already.

He even did away with pedals, and he's saving weight on that minimal outfit. Now if he could just get a more aero position. That wheel looks awfully heavy, however, but maybe it's hollow carbon fiber.
