Trunk Rack For Mountain Bike

This is the rack I am looking at because of the shape of my bike frame, https://www.kmart.com/reese-sportwing...1&blockType=G1. My mountain bike has rear suspension so the top tube isn't very long. I think "fixed arm" styles wouldn't work.

I bought a $39. Trunk mount from Kmart 12 years ago. It's been good for every bike I own. Congrats on yours. My FS bike does need attention when traveling.

Bikes: Litespeed Ti Mtb, BikeE Recumbent, Cannondale H600 Hybrid,

For those bikes with short top tubes, the Saris Bones 2 has arms that is adjustable for width. Although they may cost more, but they are well made products that lasts for many years.

And for those who use y shape full suspension frames Saris has a bike beam, that clamps on the seatpost and under the stem.

TiBikeGuy, thanks for the info. I like the extension bar idea, I'll have to look into it.
