I'd say about ten strokes in third gear. Felt like a success to me....and no one saw it.

Best resurrection ever :)
As for me, about 20 feet. I used to able to do alright, but seems ive lost the touch. Kinda sucks....it was the one saving grace i had....now i got nothing  |
Damn, last time i posted I said only 12ft LOL. I think I can go over 200ft now.:D
|
About half a mile or so and about 50-60yrds one handed and 3-4ft no handed ! all depends on the bike and the terrain, nice smooth gentle uphill roads are perfect !!
|
How can you go uphill both ways? I only have about 30 feet right now.....
|
i can do a wheelie until my right hand.. the one which brakes gets tired.. but im not much into wheelies anymore.. kind of bored of them, now i search long downhill roads and do manual on them feels better than wheelie :P

What is the world record?

When i was a kid the sting-ray came out and we all got them{i was late and got one with a springer front end}. Two friends of mine, one very short and strong and the other thin and very long arms could do it for miles. The short guy got up on the tip of the seat and just stayed there going for ever and the other guy would get the front wheel off the ground maybe by a foot or so and they would ride together for ever with me behind them because i was good for a few feet. Were are talking the early 60's.

Back in the day.. 1984to 1990... 18 laps around a football field.. = 4 and a half miles.. on a Mongoose 20" with Skyway Tuff wheels with coaster brakes, raised seat up high to balance it out. Back in the early days of bmx freestyle, before xgames ...

Sorry, folks, I'm closing this dredged-up three year old thread.
OP- I encourage you to start a new thread on this subject! Thanks. Ken Hill BikeForums Moderator |
