Can You IDENTIFY THIS MOUNTAIN BIKE FRAME???

Can anyone IDENTIFY the manufacture/year???
The front is ALUMINUM-- it is bonded to STEEL rear geometry. Yes, indeed. (I've painted the steel portion with Hammerite paint.) The bottom bracket appears original, sealed. http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=342801http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=342802http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=342803http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=342804 |

Close but not quite. The Techniums didn't have the front tube aluminum and brazed. Rear steel down tube on mine. I'm still looking however, maybe there's a model I've missed.

Did someone build a unique Frankenstein?

I've studied these pictures and scoured the internet for all you.
I'm sure I'm able to identify this. After long discussions and reasearch I'd definatly say this is a bicycle. Most likely of the mountain or all terrain variety. |
Okay fellas it's been SOLVED. It is a Raleigh MT500 from 1994, only one year of manufacture.
See details here: http://www.bikepedia.com/quickbike/B...0#.UkZR8Vfdd8G Photos are online- originally painted quite, uh.... 80-90's goofy. :-) |
