Opinion on Bike
I'm not certain if this is allowed, but I was looking at this Jamis and am soliciting opinions on the cost/bike. I ride mostly on pavement and have been using an older Marin Hawk. I was going to buy a bike in the 1K range but this seemed like a good purchase.
Any thoughts would be a helpful.

At $600 with shipping, it's not a bad price, but for that kind of money you should try a local LBS that has already assembled the bike and will honor the warranty with free tune ups for one year. It's rare to find a true bargain on ebay.

Thanks for the insight. He went down to $500, but as you said I am probably better off with a local bike shop. Thanks for the adice.
