is this price too low or can i get some nice 29er carbon rims?

Reynolds and some others would fall into that price range I believe so shouldn't be a problem. Never ridden on carbon wheelset before would like to give it a try - for the $ and the weight its Stans Crest and lightweight tires for me.

What are you trying to get out of carbon? Just lightweight? Just stiff? Or light and stiff?
