Sette XE2 barends

Hey everyone,

I just put on a new pair of grips, the Lizard Skins Moab. I love them. Well I also bought the Sette XE2 barends. And im just wondering, since the barends clamp to the handle bar. Am i going to need to cut the grips? And if so what should i use and how much should i cut them?

Thanks for any help.

You can, but it's better if you just slide your brakes/shifters/grips in bound 1/2".

If you have riser bars and don't have the room, you can simply use a razor blade or sharp knife to cut them. Most grips now have a guide line in the pattern to use.

Personally, I'd just slide stuff over, shove the bar-end on and be done with it!
