Definition of Freeriding...

Title pretty much speaks for it's self. Whats your definition of freeriding?

My 'freeriding' is pretty much just riding more than flat ground, or doing tricks and crap.

Like, wheelies/stoppies/bunny hops, or riding stairs, jumps, etc.

The opposite of that would be trail riding, or road riding.

I think free riding in any aspect whether it be snowboarding, mountain biking ect. is just that there is a variaty of everything in your riding repretwar, you do it all, but not in a closed situation, like you like technical drops or trial type action, but not in a set enviroment, free riding is doing it all as it comes your way, Jumps, flats, trials, fast downhills, anything, and everything. That's my $.02. I could be way off but that's how I see it.

Search. There have been some very very elaborate conversations on what freeriding is

Im with Mael, versatility is what freeride is, which is why what i consider to do to be freeride, im versatile and can do most disapliens in biking to a certain standard, but there are stregths and weaknesses..

My aim is to progress all of these disaplines

It's okay. We all have to start to learn how to use searches sometime.

That massive result I got is from entering 'Freeriding' into the search prompt and specifing titles only.

Use the search, learn the search, love the search

Put definition and freeriding (without the and) into the search prompt. That should give you enough hits.

Odd I always thought you could capture a search and post it...how strange.
