Yeah, I'm one of those. Nothing wrong with Foo, but who wants to explain it to everyone that reads their shirt?

if the design is chosen, we can haggle over what should/shouldn't be on there. it can all be changed in a jiffy.
i think it would be crazy to try to get everything on there tho. but what do i know? i just work here.

Yea I know, like I said it was a quick idea and I actually am in the business of promotional products/tshirt making and such so I know what the can and cannot be on it. Plus I'm not going to do anything serious unless the idea is wanted because it's a waste of time if it's not going to be chosen.

I personally like the "Are You a BFer" shirt. Attention grabbing, humorous, modern logo. I'd buy one today

The snaking chain is good (actually the best "design") but it will turn into a big pissing match as to which subforums to include and I am sure there will be a flame war among those whose fav. subgroup is not included

I agree...the shirt should be simple and general, not an attempt to explain BF or its internal politics - for that someone merely needs to pay us a visit via the web address, which will hopefully be on the shirt.

Okay folks - some GREAT artwork to date for sure!!! Let's shoot for a 9/30/07 date for final submissions. Then, we'll do a poll on 10/1/07, pick a winner, and roll from there.

Hey, we may even do a couple different shirts if there is enough interest.

So Brad, what kind of shirts do you use? What's the sizing like?

Unless they chose everything themselves it's probably going to be preshrunk, from gildan, hanes or whatever the company likes. I usually wear a M and when I order shirts I get S.

I think this one could be really cool. ThePwninator's isn't bad, but PLEASE change the typeface ... I can't STAND Comic Sans.

Edit: JRrestore, do you think you could work a bicycle in there somehow? I'm thinking something like the "prancing lions" supporting the shield on a royal crest.

Hey Donna. I use Hanes Beefy-T shirts. They are 100% cotton (6.1 oz) and ring-spun (read: soft), and a very substantial shirt. I could go with a Hanes Tagless/Heavyweight, or a Gilden to save some money in terms of the final price, but the Beefy-Ts are so nice that I think they are worth the extra expense. They are what I use for all my stock VeloTees.com designs. Depending on the design, I should be able to offer a few different color choices also.

In terms of sizing, please check out my FAQ section under sizing for exact measurements of the Beefy-T:

https://www.velotees.com/FAQ.php#Sizing

You can compare these numbers to t-shirts that fit you now to determine your size.

Oh, those kind of t-shirts. I'm one of those women that "unisex" sizes don't fit. Pity.

Hey Donna. We may do a women's specific shirt if there is interest. I wonder what that would look like with one of the submitted art .... hmmmmm .....

Can you print mine on the back? By the way, I still haven't sent them through the wash, but they're way better quality than what the Beefy T used to be.

well, i like JRrestore's and Tappets design's the best. I also wanna vote for a women's specific shirt as the Hanes Beefy-T fits like a box on me and I like something that fits a little "fitter" and follows the curves....
