Brooklyn CM tonight. Anyone in? This will be my first one, will take my folder as it's the only "street legal" one with bells and crap on it.

How was the ride tonight? I think there's a moonlight ride in PP tomorrow (Sat) night? Anyone up for that? I've never been to any of these rides....what should I expect?

PP's fun. More lights the better - it's DARK! Don't be late, they leave almost on the button there. Lots of fun though - almost no one around except for some drumming.

Wait....where do they ride? Is it the loop in the park? Or do they go somewhere else off road? If they go off road, what do people with road bikes do?

They bump and rattle :) It's a loop but on mostly pedestrian paths. Unless you've walked every inch of the park I can almost guarantee you'll see areas you didn't know about.

Brooklyn CM was very nice on Friday night. I was with the PP group and we sort of meandered around with a police escort until we found the wburg bridge folk. I think we were in Bushwick before splitting up again.

We were very slow, but it was a good time. Surprisingly a lot of people cheered us on. One BMX dad with dreadlocks actually joined us and rode the whole way with his two kids riding on his pegs! Fun times. Nothing like the clashing Manhattan rides I've read and seen so much about.

Too cool. I need to make one of those...

Yeah - the 21st has been an amazing ride. I've done it the last few years, slow ride through Brooklyn and tours all the big huge displays with a trip through Sunset Park. My favorite of the year!
