Bay Country Century - Saturday!

https://abrtcycling.com/events/BCC/default.php

Gonna be a great weekend. Prereg on Bikereg.com closes tonight, but all walkup registrations are welcome the day of the event!

Sunny
80F
Apple Pie!
25, 50, 62 & 100 mile routes

Tell your friends, tell you momma, tell your baby sister too. Tell everybody to bring a bike and come on out and enjoy a day of wonderful cycling on some very nice roads along the Chesapeake Bay in beautiful Northern Calvert County Maryland.

I'll be manning the North Beach rest stop in the morning. Stop by and say howdy!

Events on Saturdays make me sad. It's the one day of the week where I work every other one and I swear that ever event I want to attend is on my day. Argh.

Any chance y'all could postpone until Sunday so that I'm able to attend?

No, but if you want, i'll ride the 50 mile route with you on Sunday unsagged. I dont get to ride club events. I had planned on doing my rides on Sunday and Monday this weekend.

PPTC has a metric century ride from Southern High School on Monday morning. I'll be there also.

I have to do this ride one of these years -- I really enjoy cycling in that part of Maryland. I'm heading down to the Outer Banks for a week, though.

I may do it, I may not - it all depends on myriad circumstances.

I'll see if you're still at North Beach when I cruise through, though it will most likely be afternoon.

Loved the ride! Great route, well organized by ABRT!

And could we have had a better day for a century? Bluebird weather was a big plus.

The course was great along with the weather. But how did the planners find so many hills? My GPS showed at least four hills at 10% or more. I didn't know that existed in the area.

Fatgutracer, I looked for you on the back of a motorcycle but didn't see anyone riding like that.
