Manhattan Bridge: What's that Smell?
On the Brooklyn side, where there's construction, I smell it every morning. Smells like . . . I don't know. Chemical Roquefort cheese? Wincingly bad.

I think they are lacquering the bridge. It's some sort of painting substance.
