Aston, PA routes

I just moved to Aston and am looking for suggestions on road cycling routes South of US 1. Any roads to avoid? In my preliminary rides there are way more hills than in New Castle, DE. Also does anybody have any suggestions are the best road to cross US 1 S to N? thanks.
Bill

Hey Bill, I grew up in Aston but haven't lived there for years. The roads are pretty busy and narrow. Depending on where in aston you live, I'd suggest heading northwest towards Chadds Ford or Chester County. From Chadds Ford you can pick up 100 and take that south or north for miles and miles.

You can cross rt1 by 452 but there is a ton of traffic. If you take 452 to the end and go left on 352 you can ride for miles, the should is wide most spots but traffic is heavy, there are tons of side roads to take from 352 and you can go through Glenn Mills, Ridley Creek park, the possibilities are endless. PM me if you are interested and I can provide you with more detials, options.
