Bike Shops around Ithaca, NY/CNY?
Any know of any good bike shops in CNY?
There are 3 shops here in Ithaca, but none have a very good selection of bikes. I am shopping for a MTB and want to ride a lot of bikes before I spend my money, so I am looking for a bike shop with a better selection somewhere in Central NY state.
Thanks!

The Finger Lakes Cycling Club has a listing of nearby stores:

If you want to go as far as Syracuse you could go to Wayne's & Meltzer's (https://www.syracusebicycle.com/index.html). They seem to be pretty big.
My local favorite is definitely Swan Cycles but they're specialized on road bikes.

If you don't like the shops in Ithaca, you might take a ride down to Binghamton to Chenango Point Bicycles on Washington St. downtown: they carry Cannondale, Specialized and Jamis. There is also Babcock's on Main St. in Endicott, which is heavily Trek-centric.

When I lived in Syracuse, I mostly went to the Bikery in Baldwinsville (which is in the Syracuse municipal limits, I think- thebikery.com) and Bicycle Loft in North Syracuse.
Seems like you're looking at a trip on 81 for any shop you choose.
