Where to view TdF live in DC?
OK, a thread about watching TdF in NYC gave me the idea to ask this.
On the hill, I've seen TdF at Johnny's Half Shell at 400 North Capitol Street.
Downtown at McCormick and Schmick's, 1652 K Street.
Where else?

Wouldn't you, like, have to be in France? Oh, you mean a live TV broadcast.

I thought Kevin Grevey had a restaurant out in Lanham. Did he ever or am I crazy?
I remember going to the Capitol Center to watch the Bullets win the NBA Championships over Seattle in 1978. What a great event. When they won, women I didn't know were hugging and kissing me. I saw Mayor Fauntroy leaving the arena being kissed and hugged by all kinds of people. Not a VIP entrance, no big security detail, things were different then. I shook his hand and may have exclaimed "WOO HOO!".
