This will be my first time going - any tips?

Should this be in C&V?
I think it already is.
Tips?
If you want stuff, bring cash and a van.
If you have no self-control, come on a bike & leave your messenger bag at home.
If you want the best selection, arrive the night before & get up real early. Hit people up in the parking lot at 6:30AM.
If you want bargains, wait until it is over, and tired vendors are looking at mountains of unsold merchandise as junk they have to hump back to their cars.

Get there really early. Vendors drinking heavily make the best deals. Stuff from bigger bike shops on the pavement sometimes is still at retail prices. Bring cash. Hit people bringing there stuff in before it opens.

Have a list of what you want/need and know the prices on the web before you pay retail at one of the bike shops around the outside thinking its a deal because of the show
