1988 Centurion Ironman master....

Here's a little gem I picked up this summer on Craigslist from its original owner, who obviously took meticulous care of it.
He had replaced the original stem and handlebars with Modolo Professional pieces way back, but that was about it. I replaced the original saddle with a Selle Italia Turbo (which is like sitting on a brick, so I'll put a Specialized on it), changed out the pedals, put new handlebar tape on and put Serfas tires on it. All in all, a nice bike to add to the stable.

Nice. I wanted a red and white Dave Scott Ironman very badly but could never afford one. Then the guy who got me into riding "seriously" bought one and I got so jealous.

I found out that this bike back in 1988 was listed at $800, and this guy added all the Modolo items to it. The color takes a bit of getting use to, but once you're riding it I don't give it a second thought. The ride is great. BTW, I paid $160 for it.....

Amazing find.
