Greenbrier Trail and tires

Just wondering if anybody had ridden this trail. I realize it's gravel. Just got my LHT and want to ride it but not sure if I should on the tires I have (1.6 Conti sport-contacts)

Is it smooth enough for these? I saw some pictures of folks using road bikes on it, but I'm hesitant to venture on the dirt with smooth tires.

From what I have heard of it, they should be fine. My GF and I rode much rockier roads in Montana fully loaded on stock LHT tires with no problems. Did d2r2 a few weekends ago on the same tires with no problems.
