I'm aiming for a 6:30AM start too. Last year I wilted on the last 20 miles, as it just got hotter and hotter and hotter as the day went on...

I've done the two major climbs but not in conjuction w/the mileage (I've only done 2 centuries in my life) so my plan is to start early and concentrate on finishing in something other than survival mode

I guess what need to find out who's starting when? Looks like the consensus is 6:30 start for century riders ... and 5:00 for NYGirl ...
