Nice ride. Watch, someone's gonna say flip your stem. I don't know what it means but it seems someone always makes that comment.

I hope so. But how exactly is it supposed to be ridden?

My goal is a century before summers end with a friend.

We'll see. I'd like to ride it out my front door, but also would like to find some places that are road bike friendly and fun. Meaning smooth, non traffic areas to ride.

Which hills? In what direction?

Climbing's fun, I like climbing. Climbing on the mtb is my favorite part.

I ride between Los Altos and Pescadero/Half Moon Bay. The road bike is meant to ride right out the door and in any direction you desire. Check with a LBS and ask about routes.

I could go skyline>280>woodside road

there's some cool road bike friendly spots in there by skeggs.

Not too far. about 20 miles give or take to woodside from here. The roads by skeggs look really nice for road riding. It's mostly downhill on 280 aswell so probably get there in sub hour on my roadie.

Hey, I heard there might be some ride this weekend or something. I think it might have some hills. Tracy keeps talking about it.

Cool, congrats. You will have no trouble doing a century by the end of summer, just keep getting out there, increase your mileage bit by bit. Once you've done one you will wonder what the fuss was all about

Dang! The new Giants are nice looking. I notice they have "borrowed" some of Orbea's design around the head tube. Niiize.

Congrats Pheard. Hope to see you on a ride some day soon.
