Just picked it up yesterday and worked on it today. I got the original bike I bought for sale. She rides like a beaut for being a garage queen after being ridden in the AIDS ride... She just needed a new tire and a tune up. I'm thinking of calling her Bella.

Nice pic at Crater Lake! The girlfriend and I tried to bike around it at the end of June, but only 1/3rd of the road was open.. so we did a 22mi out-and-back ride.. most of the distance, but didn't get to do the full circumnavigation, bummer!
Mosquitos ate us alive back at the car. Literally ripped parts off our bikes, threw them in the trunk, slammed it ,and peeled out of the parking lot at 45mph with all the windows down, still wearing our helmets and bike shoes and stuff.
My first SS, Windsor Clockwork (Orange). Got my Ritchey SPDs on it for commuting. I need to find some cheap bullhorn bars (and maybe new levers).

Hi NorCal! I picked up this '98 Lemond Zurich two months ago. It's my first bike in about two decades, and so far I'm really happy with my selection. I've been gradually upgrading it. New additions include a Nitto Technomic stem, 3ttt Paris-Roubaix bars, Selle Italia SLR saddle, and Conti GP 4000S tires. Next on my list are clipless pedals--I'm leaning towards Speedplays.

Bella's a 2005 Reno. She was a garage queen kept in Alameda before I rescued her. So far, she has 80 miles on her spread across Berkeley/Iron Horse Trail/Lamorinda/Walnut Creek/Hercules.

Hey, did you do this year's CL Century? Kinda looks like it based upon the high clouds I see building up... How'd you like that last bit into Ft Klamath at the end?

Just picked this puppy up last night with a test toupe, if I like it I'll go black for the permanent saddle. 16.8lbs by the tried and trusted bathroom scales weighing method.
Cannondale seem to have got creative with their tube shapes - flattening the seat and chain stays , tapering the seat tube and beefing up the down tube where it meets the head tube.
Can't wait to get a shake down ride in. Replaced stock wheels and saddle, tires don't excite me much, but I have a set of PR3's that are itching to go on there.

I would have to say this qualifies as a "Bikes of Norcal" photo even though it is not my bike.
I saw this beauty last Saturday night in Clovis as I completed the Bass Lake Double. It was just leaned against a wall outside of the hall where we ate the post ride meal.
A $15,000 Pinarello Dogma 60.1 with Sram Red grupo.
It was just leaned against the wall as casually as I would lean my up my old warhorse.
Wow! I still can't believe it was just leaned there by an owner who walked away to go scarf on some lasagna.
If I owned this Dogma I would never let it out of my sight.
I wonder who the lucky and trusting owner is.

A very drool-worthy bike, for sure.

That C-dale is very handsome. Looking forward to a ride report.

Here's two of my ladies. The one on the left is my Look 566, XS frame. All carbon, Ultegra grupo (it shifts very smoothly!), Look KEO, Specialized Dulce saddle, Fulcrum 7 wheels. I love that bike.
The one on the right is my tri bike. It's a lovingly cared for Felt B2, 2004 vintage. I bought it just three months ago. It's 50 CM, 650c, has Zero Light wheels, Ultegra front and rear derailleurs, SRAM cassette, chain rings, cranks and chain, and FSA Vision aero bars. The saddle is going to be replaced! I LOVE the bike, it is fast, smooth, and waaaaay fun for this old gal!

I still have a black bike for those extra filthy days...who'd be crazy enough to ride a new white bike for say 100miles in the pouring rain, anyway?
That paint job is a bit much for me, but I think I might have seen the owner before...

New here
Here's my road steed:
Rock Lobster frame, Pegoretti-esque. Someone had it built for them and they didn't like it, and put it up on CL. So now I get to enjoy it.

Couple of short rides so far, but I'm enjoying it very much. Where I really notice a difference is when I'm getting out of the saddle on a steeper climb, or trying to push a little bit faster on the flats - the bike takes whatever meagre wattage I can muster and translates it into forward motion. I still dig my Roubaix, but I sense that the CAAD is really a better zone5 bike. The ride is obviously a little less forgiving than the Roubaix, but far from unrefined. Can't wait to put in a longer ride and see how I hold up.
