Got (yet another) rear saddle mount bottle cage holder for the folder. This one extends out past my thighs better and has a sideways mount. Hopefully this is the one.

A pair of bibs and some speedplay Zero's. I love the bibs! And the pedals work great too.

Pair of Mavic R-Sys wheels from Craiglist.
At 1350gr (from my balance) they are 240gr lighter than my 2003 Ksyrium SLs and super responsive. Pushing the pedals results in instant wheel rotation, getting out of the saddle is amazing. I have ridden them in 4 outtings now, I find them stiff yet comfortable and very stable and efficient when cornering.
Only negative was a pinging noise in the front wheel that I finally solved today, the metallic tube stem was hitting the rim section (hole is a bit wider than on other wheels I guess) when hitting road bumps. Some tape around the stem stopped the noise.

Are those the latest versions that don't explode?

Been lamenting glory days a little too much lately so I decided to buy my past back... For a whopping $125. Rides like new because, umm, it pretty much STILL IS!!! I love this thing

Hopefully, there's another STEEL IS REAL ride in the future... I can't make next weekend

I just ordered an 11-23 cassette. I need something with a little lower gearing for the sake of my knees.

Not sure yet.. that is step 2.. step 1 is get the bike. If I had to look at the pictures.. I would say on the top of the downtube. But I was thinking, why not get it on the top of the toptube that way it is more traditional being top to bottom. I dunno.. back to step 1. Get bike.

I bought my first real cycling jersey, and it is of my native country, Colombia! Hopefully the shipment arrives before the weekend. This one is from bikejerseys.com, I love the retro look:

I just bought a CSC podium cap and cycling cap for $2.99/ea at Competetive Cyclist. I've wanted to get a cheap cycling cap for a while but I don't care for anything too colorful like most of the team ones are. But since the CSC cap is pretty much white and only $3 I decided to get it.

I also got some Park Tools tri-hex wrench tools.
