Marin Century Registration Open!

Pretty early in the game? I got the newsletter today and went ahead and signed up for the Century 100Mi
I was really happy doing that ride last year and skipping Tam which I'll probably do a Zillion times this year anyway.

Dang, Pete! You're going to be on every organized ride this year!

I did this last year and the ride was nice, but boy, was it crowded. Too many riders .

Ya I had a bit of the gas that day, so there wasn't a soul around ...had the whole ride to myself no one came near me..? Maybe you should ride with me next time I eat a breakfast burrito

Did you do the 100 flat? It wasn't too bad, but then I was busy talking with someone and we missed a turn and did a large part of the ride by ourselves. Oops
Pete

Funny you mention getting lost at that event. I was signed up for the Mt Tam Century. But, early on, I latched on to a fast paceline. I kept my head down and stayed with the group for about 10 miles or so. Then, I looked up and said, "Have we made the turn for Mt Tam yet?". All the guys started laughing and then informed me they were on the Marin Century! What the heck, it was a pretty ride.

Can't go wrong with either one. At least you didn't go on the Mt. Tam Double Century route, with over 14,000 feet climbing

Ron, are you signing up for that one? So far my line up is:

Tierra Bella
Primavera
ALC Sf/La
Marin

waiting on
Hamilton
Wine Ride
Davis
Maybe Napa?
Foxey
