The air quality is supposed to be better for Saturday!

https://airnow.gov/index.cfm?action=a...ocal&CityID=60

I was tempted to go out today, as I'm going stir crazy, but I can wait one more day...

We're still on for 8:30 tomorrow.

'Sorry for the confusion, but the Sunday thing came up because we were talking about Part II of this ride, which is on July 26th, a Saturday, and that ride comes up against a DBC ride (kinda like tomorrow's ride does), hence the query from Rushfan about switching the July ride to a Sunday, versus a Saturday, ride.

I was in the delta today and I actually felt wind! It is definitely better than the past couple of days today...

Okay, so the meeting place is Mondavi Center? We'll leave VV by 6:45 tomorrow morning, so please PM me if this info is wrong. I'll check BF and email at 6:30, and then we're lost in the ozone.

See y'all in the morning!

Wow, you two are leaving VV early. I'm coming from Benicia and wasn't going to leave until 0730. Yahoo says the Mondavi Center is only 50 mins away. Maybe I should leave earlier in case Yahoo is wrong.

I'll drive out there instead of riding so look for a Silver Hyundai Tuscon. I'll leave the bikes on the rack till the last minute as a beacon. I got name tags! (I'm really bad at remembering names )

Huy, did you chance to print up routeslips for everyone? I forgot to do that because I was so busy with work this week; I know the route is pretty simple and the likelihood of anyone getting off-track is low, but it'd still be nice for folks to have a map just in case. If not, I think we'll still be fine since enough people know the route and turns.

Question: My wife just asked me to pick up our son from her Mom in Roseville by 12:30. Is there a way back from regroup stop #4 (Putah Creek and Railroad Rd) other than backtracking?

It was great getting out on some new roads and meeting more BF members. I had a great time riding with all of you, and will definitely try to make part II of this ride series! Lunch at Fast Eddie's was a real treat, and it was an excellent day all around spent with wonderful folks.

A special tip of the hat to t4mv and Huy for organizing this one!!

Sorry, my buddy and I missed all you by 10 or 15 minutes...had a late start. We made our own route, and it was a great day to bike. Maybe next time.

Had a great time today! Sorry I had to bail early but I still got to log roughly 33 miles. I'd love to do another group ride.

Thanks again for organizing this fellas!

Hey, Carolyn and I got to see GiroToGo and friend!! At Steady Eddies. And we also got our choice of sweets before the crowd showed up. Nice riding with everyone! We didn't want to push it too much with the smoke so we shortened it up too. We both had sore throats by the time we got back. Never got the 'early years in LA' toughening up like some of you...

Very nice putting some faces with names.

Hey, Rushfan, didn't I ride up Cantelow with you a couple of years ago, then run into you on weekends for a while?

John: Great pics!! I have NO coordination to take pics on the fly like that...
