My friend Mike (no, not my dog) will be joining us too. He'll be on a mountain bike He's hoping the autobus isn't too fast for him.

So.. in preparation for this monumental ride.. I have been working very hard..
here is a video of my work:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G_6lSLuwU6Q
I will replicate this feat tomorrow!! Or at least try..
And for the descent!! Maybe Kari can bring my front tire down.. I wont need it.

Reid,
You are just too wild and crazy ... but maybe the sleep depravation will be the equalizer for the rest of us. But then again, I woke up at 5:30 am ... wtf

I'm a late scratch.
Bike came partially off the rack on the way down, and bent a fork dropout.
Have fun!

wow...that was my first time up mt hamilton.....The climb was very humbling. It makes my usual foothill expy/palo alto/woodside route look like nothing. Phew. I went through 3 gu gels, a pack of crackers and 2 bottles of water on the way up. I was hurting all the way up but it was fantastic. hahaha I nearly wiped out 6 times on the decent....yikes but it was fun hahah
