Mmm, falafel...
OK not bike related but a new middle-eastern restaurant just opened up in San Bruno called Sajj Restaurant. Their freshly made falafel are the best I've had and the chicken shawarma and kebabs are delicious. https://www.sajjrestaurant.com/

yummas is my favorite deluxe falafel place (irving and 8th or so). There's the sunshine deli on irving and 26th as well but it's not quite as good. blast radius... any comparison?
Speaking of san bruno, Vietnam Village is the best vietnamese sandwich place I've found. Anyone have any other suggestions? (I've tried Bahnwich on Taraval which is ok. Also Saigon Sandwiches downtown which is also just ok.)

Don't mince words
I haven't been to Falafel drive in since our daughter graduated from UCD. It was good.
There's a Mediterranean restaurant on Haight St. that starts with Z that has some of the best falafel I've ever eaten. Our daughter lived a few blocks away and we made it a point to eat there whenever we visited.

The flavor of Sajj's falafel is much more subtle.
Vietnam Village is a regular lunch spot for me since I work just across the street from there... it's pretty good and for a long time was the only place worth going to lunch at. Now there's Au's Kitchen for Chinese, Sunny Sushi for sushi, in addition to the mediocre Crepery (sp), Quiznos, Pasta Pomodoro, and Extreme Pizza.

Mmmmm, this falafel shop is right on my morning commute route. Maybe I can convince them to open really early so I can grab a falafel or kebab or two for that post ride refueling....
