Hmmm ... Nov 28th looks good, but not sure how many will be in town.
Dec 5th is the Pesky Penguin ride, but we can still do it that date too.

I would love to create a poll from this existing thread ... moderators???? I don't want to be forced to create a new thread, just to create a poll.

Dec 6th seems to be a tough date to meet, so let's do Saturday, 12/13/2008. Does that work for everyone?

I've put the details in the OP, plus a roster. Please let me know who can make it, and how many.

Ok, I need a head count. Who is in? I would like to get a complete head count by Saturday evening, so I can make the reservations. Anyone else in? Once again, Saturday evening, 12/13/2008, at Gumba's in Sunnyvale.

My broker is hosting the company Christmas party that night, and we're hosting our local bike club's Christmas party at the same time. So many parties and no clones to attend. We'll have to pass and hope to make it next year.

Hope everyone has a great time and takes lots of pictures!

I know ... everyone throwing parties all at the same time. I don't have to worry about it too much, because my company isn't throwing a christmas party. And no, it's not the economy ... we're just really cheap.

Same with our office. We're the highest-grossing office in N. CA & Nevada, and they still want to play cheap. Bah, humbug. That's why my broker is hosting the party at her place. Which we can't attend because we're hosting our bike club party here at ouir house.

Which is why we only rode 30 miles today and didn't leave until 2 -- we had to choose and cut our tree.

Pics to follow.

And I'm kinda peeved that we won't make the BF gathering. BF is like the family you have when your blood family has something better to do. BF is the family that backs up the family.

Maybe the Third Annual Northern California Bikeforums Holiday Dinner should be in August or so. Beat the rush!

Whaaaaaaa!!!! I can't make it, bummed.

I am being taken out to dinner for my birthday (actual B'day is the 16th) that night by my Mom, Dad, Wife and Kids.
I guess that is a high quality problem, too many friends and family to book them all into one social calendar.

I still wish I could join you all.

Do they have menu online? I actually will be in Bay Area that weekend, will see if I can make it.
Probably too late now, but maybe Ethiopian cuisine would tickle someones fancy?
