Thanks for the reminder! I would have been on that ride except that we were on vacation in Kauai.
Nicest guy in the world. And builds gorgeous bikes. One of these days I'll own one. Maybe I'll get lucky!

Oh man, I hadn't heard about this. That's awful. I haven't met the guy, but I've heard nothing but good things about him, his shop, and especially his bikes. Someday I'm going to get a custom frame made, and Rex is near the top of the list. I may have to chip in for a few tickets. Thanks for posting this.

Wow, that's awful. Double whammy! I just emailed Dave Burke and asked if he's set up to take paypal for raffle tickets or has some other means for online contributions. Will update when I hear back.

I stopped by Steve Rex's shop today to buy a few tickets. It's a really neat shop. Brooks saddles, Tubus racks, some Ibex wool shirts, and lots and lots of gorgeous frames.
The guy there was saying that there's going to be a party there tomorrow leading up to the drawing at 2PM.
He also said that they're selling a ton of tickets to people from near and far. Pretty cool.
