great job everyone.

Chris, I think you need to upgrade to the bike you were testing on Hamilton, lower and more aero. Here's a shot of the fit.

Thanks Chris.

Once and a while, I flashed the "5" when I passed 50 mph. Just for a bit of fun

Like 1/2 of that video is around 50 mph.
Very cool, I wondered what the fingers meant You might have problems if you try to flash 6 fingers for 60mph

Yeah I tightened up the camera mount shortly after that at the first rest stop.

But, it actually ended up being pretty cool.

I was a little sore the morning after the ride... but nothing too crazy.

However, today i am ridiculously sore after that hike on Monday... I cannot even walk properly.

I guess I shouldn't do much of anything between now and Pescadero RR (Saturday)

I'm no longer sore at all, just sick, I think.

After driving through Yosemite, I want to go back. How long did the hike take you?

The info pamphlet said it would take 6-8 hours round trip.

For us it was (apx.)
3.6 miles up: 2:40
Time at the top: 20 min or so
3.6 miles down: 2:30 (not because we were moving at a higher speed, more so because there was less stopping to eat/drink/take pictures/etc... if anything the down speed was probably slower).

So with hanging out at the top it was around 5.5 hours.

Double century guys need to do longer hikes than that! You need to go up Half Dome, ~18 miles round trip from Curry Village. Going down hurts more for me, usually from bad fitting shoes and blisters.

Nah, that's reserved for Triple Century riders

I wanted to... but not enough time in the day.

We drove back to the Bay Area after the hike.

At least they had enough class to not list who DNF'd. Some days you have it, and some days you don't ... albeit extremely adverse conditions.
