Feb 21, Diablo Sunday, South Gate

I have to cancel! Surgery got rescheduled for Thursday before the ride. So I won't be in any shape to climb Diablo.

Have fun!

Gah, I'll be doing the Ronde van Brisbeen that day. Too bad, I need to get another Mt D climb in soon.

They are not doing the circuit race. I am going to be skipping the crit, the course blows major chunks.
Hmm might be in for Mt. Diablo.

Will be there unless a piano falls on me. Or my bike. Or on my car. Or while I"m on my way.

Maybe. MyLilPony is outta town, and i need something to take my mind off missing her.
Joel, why Southgate? You drive all the way down here, right past Northgate. You could go up North, down South, and ride the danville Highway back to the start and have a real ride, and a shorter drive.

Some folks that have never ridden up it, and they prefer the easier route (my wife specifically said that).

Also (and I'm being very honest here), climbing hurts (the hernia). So the South Gate route will be less painful.

I'm up for the ride, hopefully the day will work for me. I'm slow going up, but I sure like the descent...
