Group of deaf (literally) cyclists had a old maroon toyota minivan following them in the bike lane along Foothill in Los Altos.

They should have given out the info to text the driver to everyone, and done the leapfrog SAG.

Wow someone needs to relax. I'll bet that SAG slowed you down for what - 3 seconds, if even that? Foothill is a 2-lane, low-traffic road that isn't even that long. It's particularly good for cyclists, because motorists who need to move can (and should) be taking the paralleling freeways that are immediately adjacent. It's also a known (and encouraged) bike throughfare. If these cyclists were on a bike-inappropriate road, that would be one thing, but Foothill is amongst the most appropriate roads for such a group to use.
I've seen tractors and farm equipment on much more heavily trafficked streets that move at the same speed of a cycling group, and people never complain about those.

You need to chill. Think of all the drivers who think the same way about us. You slow them down for 3 sec and what do they do Honk and cuss. Sounds like these people need a little extra help. You should be happy for them that they are able to enjoy cycling.
A note on SAG
I was riding with my wife in Solvang once and there was two cyclists coming the other way with a SAG behind them. If you would have come up from behind would you have the same attitude? The one cyclist waved. I waved back. Oh yea, that was Lance. Go give Lance that 'tude, dude.

Some parts of the bike lane are not wide enough for the complete minivan so they were halfway in the lane. Moreover, they were pulling around slower cyclists and since they were only moving 15 mph, making faster cyclists have to go around in the traffic lane. It also appears they had a red audi following them as well.
It sounds like you two are implying that I can have someone follow me in the bike lane on all my rides? Hell everyone can have a SAG! Of course mine might be faster than someone elses. That sounds real safe to me!

He doesn't need to chill, the minivan needs to follow the CVC and get the heck out of the bike lane.

Calling the police on a group of deaf cyclists because their support vehicle obstructs your ride = lame

OP is right. We don't need a vehicle blocking the bike lane so that we have to go around into traffic. It's not a matter of having to slow down for 3 seconds, sticking out that far into traffic is a bad idea.
Also, he's not calling the police on the cyclists - he's calling the police on the bad SAG driver.

California Deaf Wheelers had a ride that may have taken them on Foothill Expressway. Perhaps you can email them, verify if it was them, and ask nicely ask that they don't drive the SAG in the bike lane.

A minor delay so that a group of deaf cyclists can ride a little safer and easier? Of all the hazards and annoyances that come with riding a bike, this would rank just below grease stains on my pant cuffs.

this. rather than *****ing about it, you could talk to the driver and try to resolve the problem like an adult.

What if the SAG was there for safety reasons since the deaf cyclists obviously couldn't hear approaching cars. That would be a major safety concern for me if I couldn't hear what was coming up behind me.

I am deaf and I would feel safer if the SAG were following directly behind me. You can't hear any vehicle honking or blowing the horn. It was probably more looking out after them.

I dont care if it makes deaf riders feel safer, it endangers the saftey of everyone else using the roadway. If someone following behind is any safer, why can't they be on bike instead?

any deaf cyclists in the baltimore area need a SAG vehicle/driver let me know, i'll be sure to stay in the bike lane, both to keep you safe, and to not impede drivers with a slower moving SAG vehicle.
