My students Bike to Work Day posters
I gave my graphic design students at Los Medanos College (in Contra Costa County, Pittsburg) an assignment to make a Bike to Work Day poster to encourage students and staff to ride to LMC on BTWD.
As with any assignment the results are highly variable, but there are a few really nice ones, and other with good ideas.
Here's a link to the Flickr slide show I posted on our LMC art department blog.

I'll be having some printed and posted around campus.

These I have down. However, I have a large stack of papers if you'd like to help with those.

Thanks for sharing, some great stuff.
My favorites are #3 (for the why's and why not's comments) and #13 (I like the 'we are linked together' slogan with the chain all across the poster).
Just personal choice, I am not a graphic art expert.

Some nice work there! Thanks for sharing!
I was a design student 10 years ago (back to school late in life), so I love seeing other's work, especially students.
My instructor's favorite saying...well he had two:
"Always sweat the details" and
"It's a nice start". (God, sometimes we hated hearing that one)

Do what law school professors do: (1) find a staircase; (2) assign letter grades to ranges of stairs; (3) stand at top of staircase with all of the papers in hand; (4) throw papers down the staircase; (5) assign grades based on where papers land. Simple and fast.
