I'd like to ride from Oakland to Fairfield. I tried it once a few years back using the Antioch Bridge and the part between Rio Vista and Fairfield was not good. I'm trying to figure out if the Carquinez Bridge would be better, and the part I don't know how to do is from the bridge through Vallejo up to 121. Is there a decent way to do this? Or some other way from Vallejo to Fairfield that is bike-friendly? Thanks!

In vallejo take a left on Lincoln, right on lemon st, right on benecia rd, left on Colombus to solano bikeway to mcgary rd. from mcgary make a right on red top rd and then a left on lopes rd. that should get you close to Fairfield. I did this route on the way to napa and back.
