Snow!
I swear, just last week I was riding in a t-shirt and shorts! Went for my usual lunch ride, which has me down at the Mukilteo ferry and up Mukilteo Speedway. It was snowing hard down there, I'm hanging in Everett at Bob's Burgers and Brew, watching the snow come and go.
Waterproof shoes (Shimano MW7), wool socks, neoprene long pants, Craft Concept long sleeved under shirt, Deadmau5 concert long sleeved cotton outer shirt (thin!), Endura waterproof jacket, Endura winter gloves (thick!), Windstopper full mask neoprene headcover under my helmet.
With temps in the mid 30's, my 20 mile ride was pretty darn warm. The gloves, headcover, and rain coat are soaked inside from sweat. I just bought the Craft Concept shirt and am glad I did, it's an amazing undershirt.
For those in the Everett area, I live near the mall. I ride to 41st, Forest Park, Mukilteo, Beverly Park, 112th, Everett Mall, Bob's Burgers. It's my default ride when I don't have a destination. (Well, Bob's Burgers and Brew is a pretty good destination.) Fortunately all downhill from Bob's back home.
Cheers,
John
