It's almost here!
Who's going to ride across that day or soon after opening?
Anyone have advice on what to wear to get across? I have never biked over 520 or I-90. Imagine it gets chilly due to the cross wind.

Bikes: Bikes??? Thought this was social media?!?
I prefer the view to the South. The should have put the bike lane on the other side of the bridge, or both sides.
The extended weather forecast shows dry and 48* for 12/20. So - maybe.

I left work early on the day of the trail opening and rode with some friends in the westward direction. It was a bit windy but otherwise gorgeous and clear. I was toasty but not overheated wearing a balaclava, long-sleeve jersey under a REI Event rain jacket, bike shorts under tights under hiking pants, and two layers of socks.
This past Monday, took the tandem out for a round-tripper. The weather was even better -- I saw we had some record high temps. Wore a wool/synthetic long sleeve base layer under a LG jacket that I ended up unzipping halfway down, hiking pants, and just one layer of socks.
The trail itself is nice and wide, not too loud with car traffic, and on a clear day the view's pretty good even of the south. Dislike the bridge joints, but they aren't too much of a jolt when riding at a casual pace. I'll be happy when they bypass the abrupt end in Seattle and the weird cobblestoned uphill block to Montlake, but that probably won't be for years?
