Triathlon bike shop in Vancouver, WA?

Hi,
damsel in distress here, like to ask what bike shops (and the address or website?) shld I go to in Vancouver, WA if I am looking for Triathlon road bikes? I suppose they are usually the higher-end shops with big variety. In particular, I am looking for the slightly smaller wheel size of 650c, as opposed to the conventional 700c.

Have been searching a fair bit in the big part of US but still to no avail

Regards,
chOOna.

Its not that far to "The Bike Stand" shop in Olympia, WA. Bill Stevenson is one of the top frame builders in the USA & he could build you a 650c triathlon frame that is top notch & I don't think his waiting list is very long. They also have a good selection of production frames for sale. Before you drive that far though, call & talk to him about what you are looking for. They don't charge much for a fitting & if you buy a frame from him I think they will credit the fit charge. Don

Agreed with what ollo said. Bill is a great guy and very knowledgeable about bikes and bike building. In fact, he does fittings for 25.00!

There ain't much in the way of bike shops, period, on this side of the river. I'd be looking around Portland if I were you, but the "triathlon specialists" (Gateway Bicycles) have closed.

You might want to talk to the owner of LaCamas Swim & Sport (www.lacamassport.com/). The club has a fairly active triathlon-oriented membership.
