I'm getting confused, how many Cervelo owners are in this thread? How many do they each own? I can't keep up with this thread.
How many does Pcad have ? Who's Lambo?

I've rented them quite a few times.
The fiberglass ones are considerably better to paddle than the plastic ones. Well worth the extra 5 or 10 bucks on a day rental, not so sure I would spend the extra dough if I were buying though. I think they are around $3k. I can do a lot of rentals for that.
This is the one I usually rent.

We got a gift card from REI and were trying to decide what to get that we both could use. Every time we go into the store, Mr. TS sees the kayaks hanging there and says "Can we get a boat?" and I say "No! What the eff do we need a boat for?"
We thought this might be an opportunity to get one. It was later decided that we'll use it to partially fund getting me a Garmin 500, because he's sick of writing out workouts for me on little scraps of paper and taping them to my handlebars.

i once saw an internet security guy on the news demonstrate how insecure the internet is for personal info. the news channel challenged him to get as much info as he could starting with just the name of a person and in half an hour he had enough on him to get a mortgage and open a bank account. he started from social networking sites and went from there.
