FYI, in a poll done in 2006 by CNN.com, their readers voted Captain and Tennille's Muskrat Love the 2nd worst song of all time...

Probably more of a nostalgic Yankees fan, I grew up loving them but nowadays I am pretty apathetic about them.
Supposedly the signed ball is worth something like 10K, I could trade it in for some sweet bike schwag but not worth enough to retire on. I don't know if you remember Munson but he was a great player (catcher) and he came to speak at our Little League Dinner in 1977 or 1978 and he gave out autographs. My sister got one too but she lost it somewhere along the way....he died in a plane crash the following year so that makes his autograph pretty rare, relatively speaking.

That reminds me, I have a pretty large baseball card collection in my parents attic that has hundreds of cased cards and thousands of less special cards in binders. They were worth a fair bit of money 15 years ago; I wonder what they are worth now? That could be my ticket to a carbon bike

I also have a bunch of ORIGINAL "Wacky Package" stickers from the early 1970's that I suspect are not highly valuable but altogether might be worth enough to trade in for some Schwag.

It seems like BFers come and go, and sometimes come back.
For example Richinpeoria or 55/rad have good runs and then go away....and them come back....and then go away.
Others, like RyanF burn out and are not heard from again, although I suppose the perma-ban has something to do with that.
