Turns out that the low mileage didn't help much since it's somewhat uncommon for one of that vintage to have much more than ~40k on it.

OK, he said he can't use his car anymore. I think he was walking around town and had his pink balaclava on because it was cold. The police mistakenly hauled him in because they think he is a transsexual bank robbery suspect. He hasn't been able to communicate his plight to us because the jail doesn't allow Internet access or skype.

i use the microwave primarily as a re-heater and porridge maker, unless I'm making tea instead of coffee and can use the hot water from the kettle.

my mom had an early microwave, and she would cook entire meals in it.

I'm so old that I remember walking into a store in the Bay Area with a friend and discovered a woman demonstrating a microwave oven.
