Felt like it. Darned flu. Took a nap. Woke up. Still alive.
Then my new clipless shoes and cleats arrived. Never rode with clipless before. Slick hard sole road shoes with Look delta cleats, no less. Should be fun the first time I forget to unclip in time.
I may get that shot at dying next ride. If you don't hear from me again...

Oh man, are they gonna subdivide this thread for all the people who died and came back?
Let's all refuse to be 50+ and hang with the all the other ill folks. Maybe we can all go to Foo, most of us came from there anyway.
I can see me going away again

I had a friend die the 20th I learned yesterday, complications of the flu. She was 54, a retired Army National Guard member with two enlistments (#2 after 9/11) who retired last November, and a mother of four. She was a really nice lady with an infectious smile.
And fittingly, her name was GRACE.

The "spark death test" that I took 20 or so years ago says that I'm not due to expire til 2035. Some time in February if I remember correctly. I'll have to dig though my junk and find that. It used to hang on the wall over my desk at work.
