Wrap from the inner portion of the grip out towards the end, and finish by tucking the end of the tape into the bar end, secured with the plug. No tape necessary.

Nice looking TX. I've done this with a TX 700 and can confirm that 700x32's fit fine. There's enough room for 35's, but tire rub is likely.

Hey, that's a nice TX700! Mine is currently fitted with 27 inch x 32mm, but with fenders. I imagine you could squeeze in 35mm tires, but that would increase chances of tire rub.

Headset spacers should be 2-3mm tall. 5mm might be acceptable in a pinch. When I see it approaching 10mm, I'm thinking something went way wrong.
