Mareczko has me going broke saving money. That 2 or 4 I saved over Bennett or Viviani isn't looking like such a bargain.

Battaglin is treating you well enough, o-b.

My next-to-last revision before the teams were locked down had Yates and Chaves in it, and it's looking now as if I should have trusted my first instincts. But current lineup is not embarrassing me, thanks to Carapaz's rise over the last few days.

Just when you thought you should kick yourself, you see what a real genius you were.

I keep hearing Ulissi is going to do something this Giro. Latest here.

I bought into that program when I picked him. I hope he delivers. I could use a nudge to get out of the basement. It seems the Maglia Nera is pretty much a lock so no glory available to doing poorly exquisitely.

stage 12, unless there are serious crosswinds or a big crash, doesn't look to change much. here's hoping for serious crosswinds. give me viviani again.

And again -- a thunderstorm rips Viviani out of the lead group (and, alas, I have the other Bennett!) and suddenly the Ciclamino is up for grabs! My team is hanging around the top 25% because it's holding on to 3rd, 5th, 6th and 7th in the GC, but the stage wins have suddenly gone dry!

This is my first time ever doing a fantasy team for cycling and it really does add to the interest and anticipation of following the race!

Pinot - Woods - G.Bennett - Henao - Viviani - Visconti - Pantano - Carapaz - Dennis

c'mon viviani...stage 13 is yours to lose. stage 14 is a soul crusher. will be interesting to see if messrs aru, lopez, woods, et al, etc, find their legs and how yates/dumou hold up.

soooo...brambilla rolled in 61st at 13.5 mins down from froomie, the stage winner. so much for that prognostication. stage 15 looks like another fun one.
wouldn't be surprised to see either pinot or poz make a pre-tt move here. stage will likely go to a now non-gc contender looking to salvage the giro such
as ll sanchez, brambilla, gesink or formolo.

I'm back. At least I think I am. There seems to be something weird with league joins & drops from other races (the AToC in this case) cross-pollenating. The (s)pokes dropped into that black hole for a heart beat, too.

I am sucking a bit here in the Giro, but sucking magnificently over on the AToC.

In CA for daughter's graduation, unfortunately nowhere near the AToC and not particularly handy to my Fubo streamer.

Don't worry, your Giro teams is way better than mine, just as everyone else's is too.

Only the ITT today. Not really riveting.

Even if the pink is lost today, I think Yates will get it back on the first mountain after this stage.

stage 17 a transitional one. another one maybe for a sprinter or classics-style rider. if viviani can't pull it off,
maybe one of his teammates-stybar or schachmann can. perhaps battaglin can do the double.
